1970 Dodge Challenger

The Challenger was described in a book about 1960s American cars as Dodge's "answer to the Mustang and Camaro." Introduced in fall 1969 for the 1970 model year, it was one of two Chrysler E-bodycars, the other being the slightly smaller Plymouth Barracuda. "Both the Challenger and Barracuda were available in a staggering number of trim and option levels" and were intended "to compete against cars like the Chevrolet Camaro and Ford Mustang, and to do it while offering virtually every engine in Chrysler's inventory Project was started but the person ran out of money to continue

It has a 318 engine with four-barrel Holly Carb, Edelbrock manifold, hooker headers. 727 Torque Flite trans, with floor shifter.
The car has the following:
The wiring system is work in process with Painless wiring harness.Drum brakes. Three 21" wheels, I am trying to get the 4th matching wheel. The other wheel is a 15”. The body is good, it was painted Viper Yellow. The paint needs to be buffed out, there are some minor paint chips from being stored. The trunk floor has some small holes and a patch area that needs to be redone. The driver side floor pan has some minor holes. Minor rust in door jam hinge area. See photos.
The exterior chrome and bright trim was removed, the body is clean and straight could not find any rot, has minor under side rust in some areas. See photos We have most of the chrome and bright trim.
The front windshield, rear window and two side front windows were removed. I packed them so they do not get broken. Side window glass is on the car. We have the two front bucket seats and rear bench seat.
Other loose items:
Side mirrors, dash board, gauges, switches, glove box door, glove box- may need replacement. Ash tray, two sun visors. Seat belts, weather stripping. Windshield wiper motor, right and left complete tail light assembly. Two backup light assembly. Two head light frame and housing. One front and one rear side light. Two front parking/blinker light lens and one housing. Passenger side rear side interior panel and front kick panel. Two rocker panel metal covers. Header liner ribs. Console interior metal trim, missing the console. Bumpers are painted and on the car. New steering wheel in the box. Extra air cleaner. Two exterior door latches. Two interior door latches are installed. Front apron, interior trim.
Additional missing items:
Driver side and passenger side front door panels. Driver side rear side interior panel and front kick panel. Needs headliner. Box of other parts and labeled bolts. Other items maybe missing.
The car has 100,000 miles. The vin # is JH23G 0E129 759, I have clear title for the car. The car and parts are stored inside a heated building.It’s a sharp looking car and needs to be completed.
